The painter's acrylic OTTOSEAL® A 210

A highly flexible one-part acrylic sealant, ideal for interior and exterior use, distinguished by its excellent paintability – it neither yellows nor greys.

Areas of application:

  • Sealing of connection joints in plinth, wall and ceiling areas, e.g. on window sills, between wall and door frame or on roller shutter boxes.
  • Ideal for interior finishing to create clean, precise joints on walls and ceilings.

Properties:

  • Elasticity: 10% permissible total deformation, tested to ISO 9046.
  • Paintability: Compatible with standard emulsion paints, with no risk of yellowing or greying.
  • Paint compatible: Complies with DIN 52452, no interaction with existing and adjacent coatings.
  • Frost resistance: Transport and storage at down to -10 °C for up to 48 hours possible.

Standards and tests:

  • Tested to EN 15651 – Part 1: F EXT-INT 7.5 P.
  • Tested fire behaviour to EN 13501: Class E.
  • French VOC emission class A+.
  • Meets the requirements of IVD data sheets no. 12+20+29+31+32+35.

Application notes:

Apply the painter's acrylic OTTOSEAL® A 210 to the cleaned and dry joint surfaces. After curing, the sealant can be painted over with wall or ceiling paint; please observe the specific application notes in the technical data sheet.

Note: Before painting over, prepare test areas to ensure the compatibility of the paint with the sealant.

OTTOSEAL® A 215 – Crack and repair filler The special crack and repair filler OTTOSEAL® A 215 has a grainy texture that adapts perfectly to rendered surfaces. UV-resistant and low-odour, this durable material is easy to work with and can readily be painted over with emulsion paint. The result is an unobtrusive, visually pleasing finish.
