The resilient natural stone silicone OTTOSEAL® S 117 is distinguished by freedom from edge-zone staining when sealing and jointing marble and various natural stone types such as sandstone, quartzite, granite, gneiss and porphyry. The special formulation guarantees durable joints indoors and outdoors, thanks to outstanding weather, ageing and UV resistance and a fungicidal formula. Note: for a smooth finish, we recommend using the special OTTO marble silicone smoothing agent.

Sealing and jointing marble and all natural stones indoors and outdoors
Sealing expansion joints in wall and facade areas

The natural stone silicone smoothing agent Product description Our natural stone silicone smoothing agent is an aqueous solution of surface-active substances developed specifically for natural stone applications. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, ready to use and gentle on the skin. Areas of application The smoothing agent is used to smooth sealants in contact with natural stones. It is optimally formulated for sensitive marble and natural stone types and reduces the risk of smoothing agent staining to a minimum. Properties Aqueous solution of surface-active substances Specially formulated for sensitive marble and natural stone types Reduces the risk of smoothing agent staining to a minimum Dermatologically tested ingredients Does not degrease the skin Preserves the gloss of the sealant surface Colour pigments of the sealant are not washed out Use undiluted only Standards and tests Based on the results of the in-vivo compatibility test (test report by Institut Fresenius, D-65232 Taunusstein), the natural stone silicone smoothing agent is classified as harmless with regard to possible skin irritation. Application notes The smoothing agent must not remain and dry on the sealant joint or adjacent surfaces, as dried residues may cause visual impairment (matt/light patches). As a general rule, use the smoothing agent as sparingly as possible.
