Product description
OTTOFLEX® bonding primer is a high-quality synthetic resin dispersion on a butadiene-styrene basis, developed specifically for the adhesion-improving priming of absorbent substrates. The solvent-free formulation makes it ideally suited for use both indoors and outdoors.
Areas of application
The OTTOFLEX® bonding primer is used for pre-treating absorbent and highly absorbent substrates such as plasterboard, gypsum components, render, concrete, aerated concrete, masonry, stone, screed as well as chipboard or wood fibreboards. It is particularly recommended as a primer before applying OTTOFLEX® liquid membrane.

Application notes
- Stir or shake well before use.
- Apply OTTOFLEX® bonding primer evenly with a brush, scrubbing brush or wide paintbrush.
- Clean tools with water after use.
- The drying time depends on ambient factors such as temperature, air movement, humidity and the absorbency of the substrate.
- At +20 °C and 50% relative humidity, the drying time is around 2 hours.
- A trial application is recommended before the actual application.
