Fire protection joint cord for expansion and movement joints – REX A1 SG 300 The modern joint cord SG 300 was developed as the powerful successor to the proven SG 300 N and meets the highest requirements just like its predecessor. It consists of a non-combustible joint filling system in accordance with DIN 4102-A1 and EN 13501-1 and, depending on the configuration, provides 30 to 180 minutes of reliable fire resistance. This prevents the transfer of heat, fire and combustible gases in expansion and movement joints – ideal for demanding projects in building construction, civil engineering, tunnelling and industrial construction. With improved material properties, optimised workability and a wider range of applications, the SG 300 joint cord sets new standards. Particularly important for existing applications: the 30 mm and 40 mm diameters of the SG 300 N are no longer available from the manufacturer.
