Sikaflex® TS Plus – Joint sealing system for agricultural slurry (JGS) and biogas plants

Sikaflex® TS Plus is an elastic special sealant with DIBt building-authority approval for sealing agricultural L and A installations as well as segmented steel tanks. By reacting with atmospheric moisture, Sikaflex® TS Plus cures to a permanently elastic sealant and is applied as a stable, easily spreadable paste.

Approvals:

Sikaflex® TS Plus has building-authority approval for sealing drive-over silos and storage tanks for liquid manure, slurry, solid manure and digestate from biogas plants. It is approved under approval number Z-74.62-151 and is suitable for use in wastewater installations.

Areas of application:

Sealing concrete tanks and drive-over silos in mesophilic biogas plants (operating temperature +30 to +40 °C)
Sealing storage tanks for liquid manure, slurry, solid manure and digestate from biogas plants
Sealing wastewater installations
Sealing the overlaps and bolted connections of steel segments and the base points between floor slab and tank wall
Corrosion protection of the edges of enamelled steel panels
Sealing storage tanks against water and water-soluble chemicals
Sealing in thermophilic biogas plants (operating temperature +45 to +55 °C)

Chemical resistance:

Resistant to: water, seawater, diluted alkalis, lime water, neutral aqueous cleaning agents, domestic wastewater, liquid manure, slurry, solid manure, poultry droppings, silage effluent.

Not resistant to: ethanol, concentrated alkalis, concentrated acids, chlorinated hydrocarbons, aromatics.
