OTTO Primer 1215 – The powerful silicone primer for absorbent substrates

Properties:

Special primer for improving adhesion on mineral and absorbent materials
Flash-off time of at least 15 minutes (maximum 3 hours)

Special notes:

OTTO Primer 1215 was developed for OTTO sealants/adhesives in order to guarantee maximum adhesion in combination. Compatibility has been tested and approved by our experts. For other OTTO product groups, substrates or coatings not mentioned, we recommend preliminary tests.

Primer and Cleanprimer should be applied precisely to the joint edges and bonding surfaces to avoid contamination and visual changes.

The primer contains toluene and is therefore subject to the German Chemicals Prohibition Ordinance (including the self-service prohibition).

Pre-treatment:

The bonding surfaces must be cleaned carefully. Any contamination such as release agents, preservatives, grease, oil, dust, water or old adhesives/sealants must be removed.

Cleaning non-porous substrates: use OTTO Cleaner T (flash-off time approx. 1 minute) in combination with a clean, lint-free cloth.
