The Bitu-Dicht one-part bitumen sealing compound is a high-quality one-component bitumen sealing compound with excellent adhesion to the most diverse substrates. Thanks to its permanently elastic, extensible properties, it is ideal for seals and repairs in the construction and roofing sector. The material is weather- and UV-resistant, quickly rainproof and ensures long-lasting sealing – even on rain-wet substrates.

• Base: bitumen
• Density: approx. 1.33 g/ml
• Curing: approx. 1 mm in 24 hours (depending on temperature & layer thickness)
• Temperature resistance: -35°C to +110°C (cured state)
• Workable: from +5°C to +35°C
• Shelf life: 36 months unopened, approx. 3 months after opening
• Tack-free: approx. 30 minutes at +23°C and 50% relative humidity
• Storage: cool, frost-free and dry at +5°C to +25°C

Application notes

• Easy application with a standard cartridge gun – no heating necessary
• Can be applied to rain-wet substrates – simply press on well
• Trowelable and spreadable – can be finished with smoothing agent for a clean finish
• Not paintable – visual matching requires other methods
• Not suitable for aquariums or marble/natural stone
