Swimming pool silicone – High-performance sealant for pool & spa applications
Swimming pool silicone is a neutral-curing silicone sealant developed specifically for use in chlorine- and salt-water-stressed areas. Thanks to its extremely fungicidal formula, it offers lasting protection against mould and algae growth and is ideal for swimming pools, spas and wellness areas – indoors and outdoors.
Product properties:
- Permanently resistant to chlorinated and salt water at disinfection concentrations
- Extremely fungicidal – reliable protection against mould & algae
- Neutral-curing, MEKO- & plasticiser-free
- UV, weather and ageing resistant
- Permanently elastic and strong adhesion – even without primer
- Very low emission (GEV-EMICODE® EC 1Plus)
- Colour-stable & resistant to household cleaners
Typical areas of application:
- Jointing and sealing in swimming pools, pools & spa facilities
- Connection joints in wet areas such as bathrooms
- Suitable as a mirror adhesive & for vinyl floor joints
Application advantages:
- Optimally smoothable and easy to dose
- High volume stability – minimal shrinkage
- Universally usable – easy application with standard tools
